  4. In a disposable pan, toss the chicken wings and the rub until everything is heavily coated.
  5. Arrange the chicken pieces evenly in the pan and set the pan in the smoker.
  6. Close the lid and cook for 1 1/2-2 hours or until it reaches 165 degrees at the thickest part of the meat.
  7. Pull the pan off of the smoker and heat to high heat or heat a grill if your smoker doesn’t allow that.
  8. Place the chicken directly on the grill and cook on each side until grill marks appear.
  9. Set aside with foil laid over the top for 5 minutes.
